LEGO only planned to sell Jabba's Palace until the end of 2013 anyways. So they aren't doing anything they weren't already planning doing already.

That's funny because I called the shop at home people yesterday to inquire about it and they told me that they didn't see it online anymore either.

Lego pulled the Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape from the website. My gut tells me they might not be selling it anymore.

AT-AT Walker is discontinued along with 99% of all red boxed Ninjago, 99% of Kingdoms, all of Pharoah's Quest, most of the 2011 Cars, some recent Star Wars sets such as Mace Windu's Starfighter, some older Star Wars, all of Toy Story, and some Alien Conquest. Plus a bunch of City is discontinued. Oh...

Easy answer, ask a Lego employee in the month of Dec. They have a 3 page list of things getting the boot. Some of the sets are even 2011 sets.

Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, this will happen this year or next year I'm willing to bet on it.

Jedi Temple or maybe a Yavin 4 playset.

just use your regular detergent. Any washer should do. Just don't use hot water. Use gentle cycle if you want.

Put them in a pillow case and put them in your washing machine.

About eight hours.

Correction: Module 1 did not take 4.5 hours. Module 1 took 2.5 hours to complete. Modules 1 and 2 together took 4.5 hours to do.

Side note: The plaque with the information did not have any typos like Lego suggested some might have.

Since Hasbro has the license on Star Wars action figures, they threw a fit to Lucas about the LEGO magnets being action figures and not primarily used for magnets. The old magnet sets are able to be used as a useable minifig. All new magnets are glued together and are not able to be used as a minifig unless you like having figures with messed up legs. The glue they use fuses the magnet and minifigs together.

Don't be surprised if the x-wing goes clearance this year. Which means that a LEGO store will slash the price to get it out of their store. They do that to their discontinued sets all the time. The LEGO store is the best place to shop. Don't count on TRU having a whole lot of buy one get one half on...

You can figure that if a set has had at least a two year run that it will be discontinued sometime within the next year. LEGO will most likely want something to take its place before it is clearanced out.
