wish they were still using the 60x23 wheels. I loved the look of them. Very real. The U400 does look interesting though.

hate the color combo. mostly the yellow but it seems to be the same scale as the crane truck. So I'll probably get it.

All I need to do is hook up a remote control and I'll use the plow version to do my driveway.

two questions for the lego fans:
1. how do you feel about the inclusion of specialized plastic plates to help define the model's shape (i.e. the cruiser)? I'm not a big fan and it seems like a cheap crutch.
2. what exactly does 'limited edition' mean in the legoverse? will this model only be produced for x months before being thrown in the vault?

Means will only be available from Lego and a specific store.
I have inoperable cancer and am unable to work. Any gifts would be appreciated. Thank you!

Limited edition used to mean fasttracked sets. It's available for only a six month cycle. These days though, the lines are extremely blurred. You have special editions, limited editions, and they run from anywhere between 6 mths to your usual cycle or even 6 years like 6212 x_wing.

Thanks for the response (and to the mod as well). That was my confusion as I think some sets at TrU are labeled as SEs. I have to spread out my purchase so these short time frames are a real killer.

LEGO Technic Flagship Model in August
As most of you know, the LEGO Technic flagship is usually launched in August. This year will be no exception! We have already seen that a lot of the fans are discussing the model in communities and we start getting questions about it. Some of you have also guessed that it will be the biggest LEGO Technic model ever - and you are right! The model is built of 2048 elements and is a multifunctional vehicle. In the following months, we will let you have a sneak preview on some of the details in the model.
As said, the model is a multifunctional vehicle and one of its fantastic possibilities is the ability to apply tools both in the front and in the back of the vehicle. To do this, we have made it possible to direct the air pressure from a pneumatic cylinder to both ends. The result is an increased number of opportunities to use the pneumatic functions that you may find in this model.
We look forward to share more details.
Happy Building!

Even though Technic is not my preferred building style I love the pneumatic system, and may have to get this for the sheer awesomeness of it. Thanks for the new pictures BrickWild.
