Toysrus is having an extra 25% off on clearance items until July 16. By clearance I think they mean on items that ends on 0 or 8...for example: 19.98 or 19.00.

I don't know if they are going to ring up with an extra 25% off because it starts tomorrow but I am just letting you know some deals you can get if it happens.

For example, buy 3 LEGO Atlantis Neptune Carrier (8075) (MSRP: $59.99).
They are on clearance for $44.98 - 25% off = $33.73 each
B2G1 90% it would be $33.73 + $33.73 + $3.37 = $70.83 for 3 neptune carriers.

This is just an example I hope it works tomorrow...let us know if clearance items are ringing up with 25% off and if it stacks with the B2G1 90%...I am crossing fingers...good luck!

I did my homework and found out that it stacks with B2G1 90% off and it also stacks with free Hero Factory notepad with $20+ purchase. Here is a list of clearance items that I found at my store and if you buy 3 of them you get the folowing prices:

Scored a 7680 Twilight for essentially $42 and a 7676 Gunship for $35 after clearance, extra clearance, and Buy 2 Get 1 90% off. Just crazy luck that I found those tonight. They were either returns or had been stashed away in the store room.

Does anyone think TRU would offer a price adjustment? I just bought two clearance things this week (non-lego). I could try and rebuy/return but a PA would be easier.

Take everything back in to the the service desk including your receipt and don't wait too long because it has to be done within a certain number of days from your purchase. I've had it done before and they will just refund everything and then re-ring it all back up based off the new price/sale. I had them do it once with over a 100 polys. Each poly bag had to be zapped to do the refund and then zapped again to get the new price. Let's just say the cashier wasn't too happy.

nice!!! i thought the b2g1 sale is applied first followed by the clearance sale. at least when i bought the pq sets from 2-3 weeks ago, that was what happened.

did you try pairing up a higher price set with twilight to see if you get a better discount?

You still have Gunships around?! I've been checking everywhere for those since Thanksgiving. If anyone finds a lonely one stuck in a corner of a TRU (box condition not an issue) and feels like throwing it in the mail, I would be very grateful. I could also trade other older SW sets (this is quickly getting off topic - I'll post in buy/sell/trade).

Sadly mine no longer had the City yellow mobile crane from a few years ago on clearance for $35 (It's a $60 set). They only had a few sets left on clearance and none of them were really at clearance prices. Plus all the sets on "clearance" were cheaper on Amazon during the holidays.

However I wanted the $20 Kingdom set, the $20 Alien set and I needed a $20 set so I bought the SP Container Getaway set for $22.50 and got all three sets after tax for $47.25. So before tax is was $14.83 for each set, not a bad deal at all.

It's funny b/c some of those sets "on clearance" are 1 cent below MSRP for LEGO Space Police Container Heist and LEGO Power Miners Lavatraz (8191), but with the 25% off and the B2G1 90% off it really is a good deal.

Thanks for posting this (or not), I dropped $192 and got $350 of sets or 45% off...for 9 sets. My "gift closet" is stuffed with Lego sets and my husband is going to go crazy if he opens that door.

I only found 1 Lavatraz (and realistically only need 1) so since that was 37.48 I paired it w/ the Lighthouse Island and Kingdoms Carriage Ambush since we wanted those anyway. I got a bunch of Space Police sets that will be Christmas gifts for my nephew. I mistakingly bought The Undercover Cruiser at 31.99 (for some reason I thought it was a different price ending in .x8. But it worked out OK since that was 3.20 and the Hyperspeed Persuits were 29.98 after 25% off so it still was a decent deal.

i just wish I had found those $25.xx priced Galactic Enforcers at Target at 75% off, that's what I get for going on vacation!

Awesome find on the gunship! Thats got to be a huge surprise, although I would have loved to see the twilight also. I managed to find a home one calamari set. I could tell it was a return because it still had a little wrapping paper taped to it, lol. It was in perfect shape though. It was marked down from $100 to $89.98, then 25% off that. I picked up 2 mill raid sets to go along with the buy 2 get one 90% off sale. A great day overall. $150 for all 3.
