Grabbed 3847 Magma Monster (game) today at the Walmart in Newburgh, NY. It's about 50% off, at $7.97.

Saw the fire station for $69, Slave I for $59, and the turbo tank for $99 at Wal-mart today.

They had the beginning stages of a clearance row being started in the toy section of my local walmart. On the top shelf was an Indiana jones ambush in Cairo set marked down to $7. They must have found one hidden in the back or something. I've bought a couple of those sets at this walmart before that were marked down but it was several months ago.

My WM has a few sets with the red clearance tag which price the same as full retail. Upon scanning them they also still come up full price. Hopefully the prices will eventually drop.

Ya, my Walmart has a few sets with red clearance, roughly 20% off or so... like Airport for $80... I assume they will have a clearance sale soon to get rid of the old stock like Kmart and Target... then again.. Walmart has more room to keep things longer, but I do expect some major moves to clearance soon.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

If you go through the forums, you'll find that is pretty common occurrence, and likely means your Walmart is a lost cause for clearance items.

Sadly, the Walmart closest to me falls into that category, and I've seen some sets (*cough cough* Bionicle Axalara T9 *cough*) sit in the clearance aisle at full retail for the better part of a year before the price finally dropped.
