This would be great if it wasn't "out of stock" like half their inventory.

I bought it a few weeks back when it was half off. I haven't built the bed of the truck yet, but the truck itself is very nicely detailed and the TRU store is neat, comes with two pirate swords and a giant teddy bear. :)
Great set if you can find one.

There was a ton after the "half-off" sale a few weeks back at the local TRU in Huntington Station, NY and this place usually gets cleared out by wild Long Islanders.
Wasn't this set originally about $35 like the yellow truck, or $40 at most? Gotta love the TRU inflation.

Yes, they jacked up the price so that they could afford to put it on sale. Well, if they actually had it in stock, of course.

The price has been jacked up since last Christmas. It might have even been $54.99 at some point. I'd have to check my receipt.
I'm glad I got in on most of these sales in early Nov. before all the additional mark ups and sell outs of HTF exclusives. I wonder how many prices will drop after X-Mas. Last year they had the MFS3 for $3.99 and then they dropped to $2.99.

I thought the price of this set was always $25? Either way the set is still at least $15 cheaper than it would be and it's a great set for $25.
I wonder if you could combine it with the BOGO50%.

This set has been out of stock since yesterday ( surprise?! )
IF it's available again tomorrow after the sale, then we know what's up. )))
