Wow. That looks very impressive! And I guess essential to my modular building collection. But the $150 pricetag for the others was about my upper limit for sets, so the extra $50 will make this one a bit harder to swallow, even though it's clearly bigger with roughly 500 more bricks than the other modulars.

The official one got pulled, possibly because of the 2 other sets in the background.

My girlfriend loves the minifigures they included in the entrance. I personally love this one more than the other modulars because this town hall is very similar to my birth town's town hall. Similar in color and style.

How long do you think I have before the Fire Brigade is gonzo? I just started trying to collect the modulars and all I have thus far is the Pet Shop, but I love the things. But I'm not a HUGE fan of the Fire Brigade, had been thinking about the Emporium next... grr.

7.23 cents per piece up from 6.72 cents per piece (Fire Brigade).
Still a good deal compared to a lot of sets, but I'm hesitating.
After watching the video, it's a lovely set. Hard to resist.

I'm pretty sure Fire Brigade will stop production if it hasn't already. It would compete too much with the Town Hall and they normally don't sell 4 different modular sets at once.

The Fire Brigade seems to be the least favorite of many people. We just starting getting into the modulars and the first one my son wanted was the Fire Brigade. It was an awesome build. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We just finished our second modular the other day, the Grand Emporium. We both love that one also. I'll say that I might like the look slightly more than the Fire Brigade. However i think I enjoyed building the Fire Brigade a little more. The Grand Emporium is a corner set though. My son loves that feature and that certainly makes it more unique. You won't be disappointed in either one I don't think.

Our next dilemma now... do we get the pet shop or the town hall?!?

I'm not quite sure why Fire Brigade isn't that popular. Possibly because its a fire station and LEGO made tons of them already in City sets.

But I think Fire Brigade has one of the best interiors compared to the other sets (at least for Green Grocer and Grand Emporium). Those modular buildings only has lots of details on the first floor but the second and third floors are really empty. While Fire Brigade only has 2 floors, LEGO was able to focus on them and really packed it with details. Love the kitchen and ping pong table!

Right now, I'm waiting for a sale on the Pet Shop as that one seems really good!

Agree. Based on the pic, I personally like Fire Brigade more than Town Hall. The outlook of Fire Brigade does blend with other modular set very well. People just feels bored about building fire station.

Being said that, the feature of putting an elevator inside Town Hall is outstanding. Will take it after Pet Shop ;-) .

While the Town Hall has a nice interior, it doesn't really blend well with the other modular buildings. Something just doens't look right with it...

I think they need to either remove a floor or the clock/chimney (sharp point at the top) as its way too tall. In particular, they need to fix the clock/chimney as the height of that is almost like 2 floors! That being said, I would also prefer the standard $149.99 US / $199.99 price point. Although LEGO did indeed add some more pieces, this is "foreshadowing" the start of price increases for modular buildings. :(

I'm not sure if you have 10188 Death Star, but that set also has an elevator similar to the Town Hall. ;-)

I have no doubt some owner of this set will definitely modify it in about the same height as other modular set. For me, I may not put the town hall right next to other modular sets, town end is one of a choice.

Bad News.

I don't have Death Star. No room for it. :-|
