Tried to stack the clearance and bogo 50% off but the register didn't allow it. (I tried star wars bounty hunter and city fishing boat). When I brought it up to customer service I think I confused them and they had no idea what was going on. Thats K-Mart for ya.

Another one of their defense would be that the ad does NOT say ALL lego SW, city, HF so it's really up to them to do as they please and we don't have anything to counter that.

Found an Atlantis Exploration HQ for $12.50 in the clearance section in Wellsville NY, all clearance toys were an additional 50% off the original 50% off. Was the only Lego set in clearance, I left 3 there. For the price I figured it was worth picking up.

Kmart is open today. We just checked the Kmart on Sunrise Blvd and nothing was marked down, but we only scanned PoTC, Harry Potter, Alien Conquest, old Ninjago, and a few old City sets.

However, I'm not sure if their new week starts on Sundays. Most stores do, but I haven't confirmed Kmart. Does anyone know for sure?

Yes the new week starts on Sunday. The "additional 50% off clearance toys" sale is over.

Hopefully it won't be too long before there is another clearance sale... i just started checking K-mart when i saw this post and was very happy with the deals I was able to find

it seems that KM does it every one or one and a half month. The previous times were early december 2011, end of december 2011, then mid february 2012, and now early april 2012. I expect the next one between end of may and mid june. (almost) No one can beat KM on lego when it's extra 50% off. That's why when i heard that Sears might close down some stores, i hoped it'd leave all the KM alone :)

How do you know when the sale's on besides on this forum? Do they mention it in an email newsletter? TIA :)

Seems it might be times around aticipated new set or theme releases too as those times are also just before new sets are typically released by LEGO group.

They have a weekly circular that shows all the sales for that week, It can be found at the front of the store or sometimes they have it as an insert in the weekend newspaper.
