Minifigures Series 8 official list

A list of series 8 minifigures has surfaced on a retailers' website in the Czech Republic, and are said to be:

1. Ancient Thespis
2. Pirate Captain
3. Conquistador
4. Enemy Robot
5. Evil Female Alien
6. Diver
7. Vampire
8. Fairy
9. Football Player
10. Trader
11. Skier
12. Red Cheerleader
13. Santa Claus
14. Boy in Bavarian costume
15. DJ
16. Cowgirl

It's also said that they'll be available at the end of August!

Sounds sick to me, may be I am too sleepy. I hope the final product looking better than I imagine.

Sounds like the figure selection is in decline, but that's IMHO. Let's hope the actual product looks more impressive

If this list if accurate, I am not very impressed. Four rehashes, (Vampire, Skier, Cheerleader, DJ) 5 if the diver is scuba diver instead of a tower diver, 3 "complementing" figures (female alien, cow girl, enemy robot). I have no idea what a "Trader" would look like, or even what it might be. Stock trader? Fur trader? Who knows? And a Santa? Obviously I'll wait until I see them before passing judgement, but this might be the first series I don't try to complete.

I would love a Santa with an actual santa hat. Other than the rehashes, doesn't sound too bad.

Hatcher, did you access my mind thru my dream before posting this?

In additional, there are already lots of "Pirate Captain"s from PotC theme . Football player may disappoint us if it comes with a helmet same as hockey player from series 4.

And since this list came from a European site, does Football Player mean American Football or Soccer, which would make it ANOTHER rehash.

(And to my knowledge, I am unable to access peoples minds throught dreams, Although that would be a mightly useful skill).

So far the Conquistador is the only one I'm looking forward to, as it'll complement the Aztec Warrior from S7.

And how about having a female Zombie instead of rehashing the Vampire?

My TRU in Frederick, MD has series 8 in stock now. I picked up the Evil Robot and Santa today.

We found these today in Cary, NC TRU. I grabbed 6 packs not even knowing these would be out yet. I got the Evil robot, 2 Fairies, 2 Lederhosen Guy and a Football Guy. I am not impressed with the character selection this time around.
