Thanks for the info. Can't wait to see the ships! Minifigs are good.
Re: LEGO Star Wars 2013 Planet Sets
That is a prelim picture. They reused Mia's samurai armor printing. Hence the boobs.Blacknight wrote:B-wing pilot's got boobs lol.

I know, but why didn't they just use one of their own earlier B-wing prints? This is still pretty funny since they're using a male face/eyes with the body.

These are prelim pictures don't forget, subject to change.
Which also means that I hope the B-wing cockpit cone gets printed. It looks lame as is.

Re: LEGO Star Wars 2013 Planet Sets
I clicked through the link and saw the ships! I was hoping that they were going to figure out how to do plated wings for the TIE Bomber. The proportions of the B-Wing are off. They ran in to the same issues I was having when I was making MOC. However, I have confidence they will have a printed cockpit and that will make a huge difference. Almost all the planet sets have had printed pieces that make a huge difference.

From Wookieepedia:
"R4-P17, nicknamed R4, or Arfour, was the astromech droid attached to Obi-Wan Kenobi's Delta-7 Aethersprite-class starfighter and was often on board his Delta-7B Aethersprite-class starfighter and Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor prior to and during the Clone Wars. "
This is the previous LEGO version of R4-P17 (from the 7143 Jedi Starfighter set, released in 2002): Obviously, this is completely different than the version pictured in the original post. That droid is R5-F7, from this year's 9495 Gold Leader's Y-wing Starfighter. Now please don't respond to me telling me that "These are prelim pictures don't forget, subject to change." I am aware. I'm just saying that the droid in the picture at the top of this page will most likely look entirely different than the final version. It is relatively obvious that all of these preliminary pictures simply use previously produced minifigures. So in reality, not to be pesimistic, but, this post does not reveal any new information (figure-wise). Unless, however, you visit http://www.brickinside.com/NeoView.php? ... mCategory=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Then one will find the true figures.

Re: LEGO Star Wars 2013 Planet Sets
There are some final planet pictures on smashing-bricks.com. They have printing on the TIE Bomber. However, they don't have the B-Wing or Snowspeeder so we still don't know what that will look like yet. The TIE Bomber is the TIE Interceptor print and the rest don't need prints. The B-Wing and Snowspeeders are new prints and they are still in the process of finalizing product pictures.

B-Wing looks cool, that's probably the one I go for next year. :D
