But Han outlives Chewbacca because Chewie died in the book Vector Prime. Who knows if Disney will destroy EU as we know it.

I also wonder when Disney will make the live action TV series. Season(s) of episodes are already written, but the obstacle was cost per episode was too high. Maybe by the time Disney finishes IX, the cost per episode will be met.
Vector Prime and the drivel that followed it killed my enjoyment of the Star Wars books. They got increasingly worse after the Thrawn Trilogy. Those books came out a year apart, and it was like being a kid again waiting eagerly for the next movie to come out. After that, it seemed a new book was coming out every week, and the quality got progressively worse. I reject the Expanded Universe, CHEWIE LIVES!

I guess we'll see whats what in 2015.
Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

Disney to buy Hasbro?

This could be potentially bad for future Disney/LEGO partnerships...

LEGO, it's not just a toy, it's an addiction... ;)

Disney has a good relationship with Lego... and Star Wars as well... I do not think it will change.

For those interested, I thought that this BusinessWeek article was a pretty interesting read regarding how the deal was closed. At the very least, it would seem that Disney knows what it is doing and will offer the films the best chance for success.
