Toys R Us at Lawrence and Victoria (Scarborough-Ontario) intersection has these 2 for 1/2 price:
Tantive IV for $99.97,
Battle of Endor for $69.97
I went at lunch time and they had about 6-8 boxes of each in case anyone wants to get their hands on these

Thanks for the tip! Just came back from this TRU. All the boxes at TRU lawrence/vic park are in my mind damaged box sets with boxes having holes/punctures/dents/major creasing/loose seals. I bought the best 2 I can find - if you are reselling, those that are leftover are not worth it - unless you are buying for yourself or ok with small margins. Still a good deal for people that buy for building or for collecting loose pieces/minifigs.

There were 4 endor sets but did not buy any since it was not true 50% off - they had the tru mark up by $10. I got a few at about $84 no tax way back in 2009 and these would come out to $79 so not desperate to get more as their resell value is not that great.

the biggest suprise was finding 4 boxes of lightning dragon at 109.99 regular price. They probably found stock in the back! Again all in poor box condition but went ahead and bought 2 - suspect it will be mediocre margin investment considering the $10 tru markup and the taxes and the box condition.

If you are okay with the box conditions I described I am heading downtown toronto tomorrow and lawrence/vic park is on the way down from DVP so I can pick another one up tomorrow. I won't buy the one that has the big hole

Really? The only thing I found interesting was the price per pieces ratio. The mini figures was a huge turn off, and that was why I pass up on it this morning.

^ There is always someone who wants a set like that - at $199 Canadian retail it's still 'cheap' if it goes for $175.

Having said that, I would never buy it for that price but some folks will buy anything for their kids.

in Alberta it was Tantive IV, Battle of Endor, General Grievous Starfighter and Clone Turbo Tank.

Surprisingly NOT the ARC-170...they had 10 and it's definitely older than the turbo tank..

They told me that Plo Koon's Starfighter was set to be on sale for half price too. But then again, they had none.

News were spread out very fast in the town. The shelves for these sets were empty at the time I was there by Friday afternoon. I went home with grocery only. I will look foward on Black Friday, Boxing Day, and Zeller 50% off Boxing week deals like last year .
