Brand New Huge X-Wing And Ewok Village Sets Coming

I was at the Lego store at Arundel Mills in Baltimore today and there was a guy from Lego at the store. Got to talking to him about almost everything and he said there is a very big X-wing coming out either in May or the fall, he said he has seen it and is great, about price he was not sure, but he did say its very big, and he said there is a big Ewok Village coming this year to. He also said the Super Heroes is a 3 year deal, He said as of right now there are no new Monster Fighter Sets Coming. He said the 5 top sets to buy if you are going to invest and sell down the line, are the Haunted House, Vampire's Castle, Batman Arkham Asylum, Volkswagon Camper Van. And the New Cinema Movie House. Since all of these are pretty new you have plenty time to get them. And he also said if the POTC Movie stays on track for 2015 New Lego Sets will also come out.

There has to be an Ewok village on its way. The Forest Maiden CMF hairpiece is new and a dead ringer for Leia's hair after being taken in by the Ewoks.

I really love these stories that the Lego Store people tell. While I think it was known that an Ewok village is coming out, and if there is an X-Wing he/she would probably know. However I have heard all these stories from people about their Lego employees and it's just BS. LEGO isn't going to go around telling thousands of people who work in their retail stores top secret info about things that they are planning down the line, even if it does make sense for PotC. Lego hasn't even talked about the Lone Ranger theme when the Cuusoo wild west set was rejected. LEGO is more secretive than that.

And how would he possibly know what sets will sell better down the road? He's just giving you his opinion, and most of those are common sense, however I doubt the Vampire Castle will be, it's being found for 30-70% off.

When I was at the Lego Store it wasn't a Lego Store Employee that told me about the Huge X wing and Ewok Village it was a Lego District Manager, there were 2 there at the store that day, the other one was in the back most of the time, He gave me the info. He also said when Toys R US had alot of those hard to find Lego Exclusives in there Stores around Christmas they broke Policy with Lego. He said there are only a very few Toys R Us stores that can sell some of the hard to find sets. He also said Lego has a Partnership with Toys R Us, which means they get Lego's Cheaper than any body else, and he even said and they overcharge on there sets. He said that Lego has talked to Toys R Us about overcharging but he said Lego will just let them do what they want.

An Ewok Village is something I've emailed to LEGO as a "please do this" 3-4 years ago. They should make it a $100+ set. It will be epic (even though Ewoks dumbed down Star Wars VI, I like them on their own).

Not to worry, if Monster Fighters were anything like Ninjago, Lego will bring them back, they might not be small sets but maybe Haunted House 2.0, 3.0...etc, since I believe that set and the castle sold very well.
