Do they ever offer free shipping during their double VIP promotions?

+1, pretty much every October they seem to have double points and free shipping. October tends to be a big month for Lego sales between what S@H does and TRUs bricktober. That's the month a lot of us tend to break down and buy that big exclusive set we've been procrastinating about.

What's with the four leaf clover special? Is this a yearly thing or newer? Is it similar to a scratch card? And any ideas on the yoda special?
I am so intrigued and baffled by the march calendar!!!

Three months in and there has yet to be a freebie that's made me get off the sidelines. I considered the January one but Chima at $75 was too high. At that price, I think I'll need something exclusive and either Star Wars, Superheroes, Lord of the Rings, or Ninja Turtles to bite. I'm in no rush.

In years past an associate hides a lego-made shamrock in the store. When you check out you alert the cashier that you found the shamrock (while pointing it out discreetly :P) and the discount is (was) 10% off your purchase. Things could be different this year but I have noticed this item for 2-3 years now. I'm not sure about stacking with other deals as I only bought one full price set with my discount.

+2 I don't have any of these modulars as I am a bit late to the game but I think I may start getting them and this may be one of my first.

The Fire Brigade is a good choice too. That was my first modular and it got me hooked. Plus, its on for $119 on Amazon right now. Very good price on an amazing set. :)

Very good price indeed. If only they were shipping to Canada...

I found the thread from last year, it was $5 off a $25 purchase if you could locate the shamrock.

Free shipping from March 1-15 with orders of $75+. I have a feeling they might expand the date so both double VIP and free shipping overlap.

That little robot thingy pictured with Yoda, is that from a new set? Or something they just whipped up for the picture?
