Or a better rate of return is get and use the Walmart credit card 1.25% at WM which is better than Air Miles now. AM has devalued their worth regularly, used to be 100 AM = $20 gift card I recall.
AirMiles 95 AM = $10 = $2375 spending ($25=1AM) at TRU (less if you have an AM CC)
WM CC $2375 = $29.69 in WM rewards

Really? But on the US clearance threads, people are reporting some finds across the country. Besides, this is one of those rare times where us canadians get on par US clearance prices, most of the time it is like 1/10 chances we get it, where 9/10 of the time you guys get this kinda clearance at Walmart, Target, or Kmart, also not to mentioned Amazon.com with free shipping to most states, and also mostly only ship within the US.

Just my 2c
True.. But that's only if someone has the Walmart CC. However, I do agree with the Airmiles not being what it used to be. So, that's why I only use my collector card. I believe "cashback" is the best reward.

I agree, I'm happy Canada is getting some good clearance! :)
I really want that Sith ship. Still at full price at my Wal-Mart. Darth Malgus is totally badarse. I got The Mines of Moria for 54 bucks and Weathertop for 40 dollars at the beginning of January. Saw Two Towers over the weekend. Lego should have put a generic Elf soldier in Battle of Helms Deep. Haldur didn't show up alone.
Heh...did ya'll know it wasn't Gandalf the White and Eomer who turned the tide of that battle but rather Wolverine and Deadpools arrival in the chopper? :)
Walmart Drayton Valley reduced some sets like Mines of Moria and Gungan Sub by a whole $2. There where 10 other sets all on clearance and reduced by the same amount. Ridiculous,I mean why even bother??

The one on clearance is Sith Infiltrator with Darth Maul, Darth Malgus is in Sith Fury-class Interceptor which will be on sale in the future. Agree on the Helms Deep set, they should make a couple elfs like this mod,

Huh? I did not know that Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds was in it, got to watch it again closely. lol

Like I have advised people before, if you build it they will... wait, I meant if you do not buy then they will drop, just need to be patient and wait. Also $2 is better then $0 at most Walmart at the moment. lol

There are two left, but they have pretty bad shelf wear. They had a fire station too w/ major shelf wear.
Just found one Jabba's Palace at the Walmart off Dundas near Dixie in Mississauga. They also had 5 of 9450 Epic Dragon Adventure for $98 down from $129.99. Great price for a great set. I bought 2 so there are 3 left. WalMarts really are YMMV, as I saw a fire station there for full pop. I also noticed that none of the sale prices were actually advertized on the shelves, I had to scan them all to see what was on sale and what wasn't!

i went to the wallys near toronto pearson airport in rexdale. pretty crappy, but there was a fire station and those epic dragon sets on sale if anyone is looking for it in that area.

As someone have already mentioned, there are two fire station sets, the clearance 2010 set, and the new 2013 set which is regular price.

A good number of them do, but quite a few of them also still have it at full price. Again, as hatcher has said gotta be careful with online stock. I called up a couple that said they had stock, even their scanners said they had a couple but the CSR said to me over the phone they couldn't find any.

Lemme guess, a reseller? Kijiji time?
Nope.
One for personal collection, another to build.
Ah I see. Sorry, when you said cleared out, I assumed you meant you bought like 5-10 of them.
They will still have them on the shelves for a while - off season now for LEGO purchases. So it's only collectors or the occasional parent buying for a kid that has a birthday.
