[USA] TRU $15 off $75+ Purchase In Store.

Post by The-Daryl » Sun Feb 10, 2013 1:50 am

From the 10th to the 16th save $15 off any LEGO in store purchase of $75+. Excludes Technic.

Not the greatest sale, but someone might find use of it :)

EDIT: Forgot to add in store only

online, in-store or both?
I usually never bother going to the only store accesible to me because everything is overpriced as usual and the selection is very poor.

But online, sometimes there is that rare set that is still at MSRP or close and stacks with the sale.

Edit: (sorry for the repeated question, I was writting and browsing TRU.com while bee beat me to it)

Great time to snag some CMF Series 9 folks.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

My TRU has started keeping them at the registers to prevent people from squeezing the bags. :-|

I actually picked up 8 CMF Series 9's at my local Giant Grocery Store. I wanted to buy the whole box but didn't need to be blowing my whole load there.

Same thing. The first time I saw them was at a local HEB (Texas grocery chain). Picked up 3 on Saturday - 2 boxes but they had been picked over so no knights that I could feel. Did get a Forest Maiden, tho, and a Plumber since I wanted the plunger. Also, I got tricked by the Mermaid- couldn't identify what was in it and every once in a while, I just say "aw, heck: there's a lot of parts so it's probably something good". Didn't feel any Battle Mechs, tho I'm not quite sure what I was feeling for. Felt quite a few Judges, Fortune Tellers, and Roman Emperors so I guess they weren't as popular at the store I was at.

Is this stackable with the Save $20 off $100 coupon?

I was wondering the same thing... If you use the $20 off $100, that would bring it to $80 and then use the $15 off to bring it to $65. Even with toys r us markup, that would be a good deal.

It says on the coupon not good with other promotional offers, but try anyway.

Evening Edit: Tried. Failed. The $15 off $75 kicks in automatically and blocks other discounts.

I didn't molest any of the packages. I just made sure all the dimple codes were different so I got 8 different ones. I ended up getting:

Tarot card reader
Knight
British judge (?)
rollerblader
wine sommelier
policeman
cyclops
bow woman

I really wanted the chicken suit guy though. :(

Is this deal on regprice merch only, like the 20 off 100 coupon?

According to the flyer only Technic and clearance are excluded.

I would guess that you couldn't combine it with any TRU.com sales since they insist that their website is a competitor and falls under the price match policy.

I don't know about anyone else's toys r us, but mine basically never has anything on sale that isn't in flyer - aside from rare 1 day $x off $x purchases, I always have to do a price adjustment to match the web, etc.

Right now the website has Unexpected Gathering for 66.99 withOUT the $87.99 crossed out (or any price crossed out for that matter) but I bet they would still find a way to get out of matching it with any other deals hehe.

Hey guys, I am not living in US, but I got relatives to but Lego for me there. I want to know what does "Toysrus mark-up price" mean? The sets I wanted to buy are 76000 and 76001, how much exactly will I have to pay after the discount? Thanks.
