With a near 1-to-1 conversion in currency, this is not an attractive deal in the US. Hopefully, its a great deal for our neighbors in the north.

If you're getting the one modular that TRU Canada kept listed, then still it's not a good deal. The original price has been marked up $10 and 20% off of that.

Even with the City sets, Canadian bookstore retailer Chapters/Indigo has a 20% off sale all month long, along with $5 off $30 spent. If you want something smaller and can get a total of anywhere around $30-$35, you're getting over 30% off compared to the 20%. Even if you're getting something up to $40 it's still 30% compared to TRU's 20% (and at times, 20% off of a markup).

Totally agree, and lets hope TRU are not heading in the same directions as Zellers and all those that went down before. They better smarten up fast since Target will be here next month.

I can't wait to see what LEGO section Target will have. Hopefully it will be similar to American Targets. And polys would be an added bonus!

I think Pet Shop may as it went out of stock about 3 days or so after Grand Emporium did (at the beginning of the last sale) and Grand Emporium came back in stock 2ish days ago. Then again who knows I'm just being optimistic since I want it lol.
