LEGO 70014 The Croc Swamp Hideout Pictures

Post by Toys N Bricks » Wed Apr 10, 2013 1:43 pm

Update: It appears that the $19.99 set is meant to be Chima 70114 Sky Joust. However, the listing shows 70014 The Croc Swamp Hideout as the picture and description. Thanks legobacca.

In addition to the Summer 2013 Lord of the Rings sets, Kmart.com has also listed one of the upcoming LEGO Legends of Chima sets for Summer 2013. 70014 The Croc Swamp Hideout will contain 647 pieces and 5 minifigures. Thanks to Dennis for the heads up.

For $19.99 USD, its an amazing value set. Though, this price is most likely an error as for a set this size, it would usually be around the $59.99 USD price range.

The description and the name on the Kmart website obviously do match the picture. There is no way that set is on sale for 20$.

Yeah. It's probably more like $79.99

I was able to order it for $19.99 with store pick-up, I'll be going in the morning to try to pick it up, we'll see if they have a problem with the price! If not my son will have a very happy birthday!

Image is 70014, but name (Sky Joust) and description says 70114. Can't seem to find a picture of that upcoming set anywhere.

Yeah looks like the pic of the croc hideout on the wrong set. Looks like I'll be getting a Speedorz set tomorrow but we'll see if I'm surprised:)

Got love Kmart, to have combined two different sets in one link. Of course of the set number 70014 looks similar to 70114. :)

I'm happy we are getting more buildings. LEGO sets this year have about 5 buildings in all the themes.

But there needs to be more gorillas!

Could they possibly recycle the same minifigs any more times? There is not a single one of five that is exclusive to the set. Who needs an army of Leonidases? He must be in at least five sets. Why not at least a Cragger variant wearing the croc crown?

The LOTR Pirate Ship I ordered for store pickup earlier tonight morphed into a Goblin King Battle. Impressive incompetence there, Kmart.

This is the first I've seen of a Croc base, though. Fitting it into the budget with the Lion Temple and Worriz's Combat Lair is gonna be tricky. Good times.

^Fair point. With the spring/summer introduction of several new tribes you'd think they be more prominent in the upcoming sets. :problem:

Thanks for the info, I was debating whether or not to pickup the Crug minifig because I wasn't sure if he would be available in later waves. Now I know, and this set looks AWESOME!

Also good to know that my local stores will likely be doing a shelf reset soon!

Lastly, I agree about the minifig selection. How many different factions are there? Wolf, lion, crocodile, eagle, ape, fox......c'mon TLG.

couldn't help but notice the tabs on the right side, Description, Specifications, Special Offers. If you click on specifications, there is a line that reads, "Assembly required: No"

hmmmm, no assembly required?

If this were really $19.99, it would be around 3 cents per piece and one of the best Lego deals ever. Unfortunately it looks like it's yet another mistake on K-Marts part though. People are reporting ordering the LotR Black Gates and Corsair Pirate Ship sets from K-Mart and when they go to pick it up being given Weathertop and Goblin King Battle instead. With 647 pieces, this set is probably in the 59.99-69.99 price range.
