thanks, picked up the mine. Estimated at about $60cdn shipped. Now waiting to see if it goes to $79 after ups fee and tax. its either going to be 56% off or 41% off!

Unless you live in Alberta or some State or Country that doesn't charge tax, you also need to consider that you would be paying tax as well for any Lego you bought from a regular retailer. I just bought two excavators: worked out to be $42.67 each. Going up against the $112.99 after HST it would cost to buy in Ontario, the savings worked out to be 62.24% off! One of the best deals I've found yet!

Even at 38.00 it still seems like a better deal than can be had in the US. I bought one recently at Lego and even after a 10% off coupon it was still $72

In fact I feel that its such a good deal I bought the Excavator and the tractor 9393 and my total was $85 or 29% off.

I finally cracked and bought the mine. I had slight interest in the set but not much...then this deal came around. Thought to myself...meh I think about it expecting it to raise in price within a day. Gave it like 3 days and it still was discounted. Gave in and finally purchased one. Hoping that 1) I'll be home when they ship it to me and 2) Shipped by DHL to avoid customs.

Got my shipping notice today, they went through UPS like all the other times. Oh well...I just got called in to work on the 2 days it's likely getting here. I'm aware of where to pickup for UPS at least but don't have a clue where to pickup for DHL. At the same time though, would be nice to not have to account for customs. Has anyone that has ordered in Amazon UK in Toronto got DHL ever?

I'm in hamilton and so far it has been 50/50 for me. I think it all depends on the location of the stock. If the item ships from Germany it is DHL, if it is in the UK it is UPS
