Apparently the market for Lego in Pensacola FL is booming... Nadda is on sale. I wish I could nab some battle packs for 50% =) All I ever see is the Construct-A-Zurg you see in EVERY walmart clearance... you can't GIVE it away...
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

My WM did that with Zurg...up to $13 from $12
Mine appears to have done the same, with one lone Midi Destroyer at $19 and a whole bunch of Construct-a-Buzzes and Zurgs for $13. (And a whole bunch of Wampa Caves on clearance for 2¢ under MSRP.)

More good clearance deals. Found the midi star destroyer yesterday for $10 at walmart. Today at a different walmart I found PoP quest against time for $15. Oh, perhaps the best, was the fire boat for $20! Also had star wars watches for $5, as well as the anakin clock for $5.

Thanks for the heads up...no deals at 2 of the local Walmarts I checked today, but it did look like they were in the midst of another inventory reset as there were some tags/planograms taped up in the clearance section. One of my ghetto Walmarts has a fair amount of midi star destroyers, fire helicopters, midrange atlantis sets, lunar limos still at the $19-20 range, will have to start making some daily checks now to see if they drop again.

Also I've still seen a fair amount of Palpatine's shuttle for $40, I don't think a single one has moved at that price at one of my local stores since they marked them down post-Christmas

One walmart I was at the other day had palpatine's shuttle for $35. There were several of them. Not a bad price but I don't care enough for it to buy it.

I've been watching these other sets for a while and was hoping to see another mark down.

$35 for 592 pieces of lego in star wars theme. I would not hesitate to pick it up.

Walmart is definitely a place for treasure hunt... YMMV...

I drove around to a near by city for work last Friday... stopped about all the walmart on the way... about 10 of them... some are brand new super stores, some are old old ones in a shady small town of 500... following is a list of what I got...

Clearance/Mark down:
Tie Defender --- $25 (in more than one store)
Portal of Atlantis --- $50 (in 2 stores... most the other are $100 if they have it)
Atlantis Exploration -- $35 (in one store, out in all others)
Deep Sea Striker -- $5 (in one store, some other are selling them for $9, most other selling for $20)
Smash 'n' Grab -- $9 (in one store, out in all others)
Lavatraz -- $15 (in one store, $35 in all others)
Echo Base -- $15 (in one store, out in all others)
Woody and Buss to the Rescue -- $5 (in one store, $20 in all others)
Army Men on Patrol -- $5 (in one store, out in all others)
Western Train Chase -- $35 (about 5 stores)

WTF:
Anakin's Y-wing -- $64 (one store has about 10 of them on the shelf)
Galactic Enforcer -- $89 (original is $99)

Best of all deal is what I found in a nearby Walmart today on my way home from work...
Clone Turbo Tank -- $79

so yeah...one WM's clearance is another WM's regular price item...

I have a WalMart near me which has two Galactic Enforcer sets on "clearance" for $99.98. They have the red stickers and everything. They've been that way since April last year. I'm just waiting for them to fall off their inventory system.

What happens when it falls off the inventory system? Can you somehow get it for a lower price?

Usually they will do 1 of 2 things: Give it to you for super-dirt cheap. Or tell you they can't sell it to you.
I have mixed feelings about new releases: I can't wait to see and get the new sets... but I can't figure out where I'm gonna put them or store them.

Saw they have the Lego Games Magma Monster for $7.97...almost 50% off. I think it is a nationwide sale. They were next to the other Lego Games.

Found Construct a Zurg at one of the local WM's today for $7. As always YMMV.
Why do we drive on a parkway and park on a driveway?

I got so lucky! A brother of mine got the Toy Story Wild West and Track Compactor for $15 each, 2 Buzz Spaceships for $9, and a Construct-A-Zurg for $7. I got 2 Compactors and 2 Construct-A-Zurgs for same price as above. Wal*Mart was moving and discounting all of their discount section, so I'd advise checking out your local store.

The last time it happened to me at this particular store (it was a Settlers of Catan game), they gave it to me for 75% off.

Is the build a zurg nationwide or some other stores have it for higher prices?
