GTA for sure, and there are a few bigger older sets on for 20-30% off. Still a few of the big sets left, again it is temping, but I suggest those that can wait rather you are a collector or reseller, wait it out till they drop to 75%. For the smaller sets like the battle packs or anything discounted under $15-20, I suggest do pick them up. What I notice is that they sold out fast like those little friends sets.

I checked out two Targets today in BC (Surrey) and can confirm that the two 2013 Battle Packs are $7.99 each, I managed to only get 3 packs between the two stores, they are clearing out fast. The Central City Surrey Target still has the Chima Castle set for whoever was interested. I also noticed a few other sets at 30% off including SW Spider Droid, Super Heroes Iron Man Malibu Mansion. I did not find any of the LOTR Black Gate sets. Happy Huntings,

Today I came across 7 Black Gates (bought 3 not sure if I want to keep them all) as well as 3 unexpected gatherings, 2013 Star Wars battle packs, and a pile of Ninjago and Chima sets. Everything I mentioned was 50% 0ff. Several other Star Wars and Super hero sets were 30% off.

Strange. I didn't see any Star Wars marked down. Even the battle packs noted above were still priced full retail. No clearance, no sale pricing. I wonder if some stores just aren't doing it. One of the earlier posts about a Superman set being marked down was the same too -- full retail at the two stores I checked out.

Same deals going on in Orillia. Only one battle of black gate left. Most of the Friends clearance are long gone, but Andrea's room for $6.49 had 2 remaining as of yesterday. Most of the large Chima sets are gone from Orillia as well, although they still have the Command ship and the Garmatron and lots of the speedors sets are on clearance.

Same in Ottawa, Jek-14 starfighter was $63.99, all last year's battle packs are $6.99... the Kanata store was sold out of all but a very few Chima sets but lots of Starwars sets still on the shelves as of last night. the places where there were red shelf tags are were empty but the SW & Black Gate sets have price tags on them instead & no shelf flag so they appear to have been easily missed.

There was also #76003 Superman: Battle of Smallville on for $29.99 (~%50)

The little sets always go first because most of the parents just want to grab something cheap to please, or simply to shut their kids up. The larger sets might show up online with the title, "Save the taxes on these discontinued Lego Chima Sets", and will see them reposting it till Christmas and beyond.

There was also #76003 Superman: Battle of Smallville on for $29.99 (~%50)

You sure they did not tag it wrong, one of the Chima Gozan set is also $29.99.

Went to the Pickering location today, did a quick look, saw the Lord of the Rings ship as well as the Sail Barge on sale for the price listed by pcdawg ($105 for the Sail Barge, I think $90 for the Lord of the Rings set). They were put on the display perpendicular to the Lego aisle (like on the side of the aisles). Didn't really check the Lego aisle itself however.

Didn't buy anything but the one thing that did happen when I was taking a quick look was this tall stockier teen (?) that got caught trying to steal I think one of the Chima sets. He got caught in the act by a CSR who then radioed for backup. The teen put it back and said that he had nothing else in his bag and said there was no need to make this bigger than it was, to check his bag etc. He ended up just walking away since the lone CSR didn't want to escalate I think (and the backup came late).

I saw this thread pretty late in the game, and I usually don't find much left at Target when I go. So Imagine my surprise when I saw these additional SW sets at 30% off. Imagine my joy when I saw THREE Unexpected Journey sets at 50% off! I don't know if these came out of the woodwork or what, but if anybody wants to snag some, I bought one. There was a Worriz set I bought and there were like 6 Drop Ships, but 2 were badly damaged.

I'll say this.. not the greatest for sales, but when Target DOES have them, they are great discounts. I haven't seen a good deal at a Wal Mart in ages...

The Store I saw them at was Cloverdale in Etobicoke.
