picked up the seaside house today. both coupons worked together but they did not cooperate with the free thor polybag. they were nice enought to penny it out for me.

Just got back and surprisingly had a great experience at TRU. Not only was CS really nice by letting me get a free series 5 fig instead of a Thor ( i have 2 from the Marvel sets already) I also found a perfect condition public transport station (8404) for msrp! I also picked up the TRU city truck set (7848) and to make it discounted for the 15 off 50 coupon I picked up 4 series 7 figs with a free series 5 fig on top of that. For a grand total of $132 i got the two sets and 6 minifigs (including 2 Aztec warriors, 1 space marine and 1 evil knight) couldn't be happier right now :)

TRU has lowered prices slightly for most Lego products.

the $15 off $50 actually works out to be a pretty good deal (30%) for many sets such as ninjago spinners if you still need Lloyd. During christmas time I imagine lloyd green ninja will be impossible to find, being the hottest lego product of the season.

Lloyd is 12.99, and even at 30% discount it is only $0.90 below retail. I can get $0.50 below retail regularly with my target red card. No way it's a good deal. I would just wait for target or Wally to carry this during the Christmas season. Last year, Wally carried lots of spinners which went on discount on 26th.

Does anyone have the TRU ad for Aug 19-25, I'd like to see what Lego deals they have next week or go back to a store today to pick some more sets up using this 15 off 50 deal.
