Apparently it was OOS for some people / but in stock at $64 for others. I saw it on clearance myself earlier this morning, then I noticed it was OOS, now back in stock by at regular price. Not quite sure what was going really.

Everything that is showing in stock on their clearance page is back up to full price. This sounds a little like the problems that people had been having with Emmet's Constructo-o-Mech last week. I would suggest popping in periodically to check on those Wal-Mart prices over the next couple of days.

This set has popped up again for $64, but showing out of stock and not available in stores. I wonder if they found a few more and put them up again?

This set has been sitting as "Clearance" for a little less than a week on the site - I've been watching it regularly since it popped up. It has been marked as Out of Stock for the entire time, and no stock in any local store nearby Ottawa. I'm guessing Legoda7 got lucky with a unit that became available, and snagged it at the lower price. I checked yesterday morning around 9-10, and it wasn't in-stock. Lucky duck!

Just want to know if it's worth looking for in my local stores.

If you did not see it in store before, then it will not be there.

I don't think it is available in stores any more. The chance is less than %1. Why %1? because if it was available on the website and some one was able to get it then decided to return it at the store, then the store may put it for sale on the shelf.

I didn't even notice the original posting date. I thought it was odd that he got a unit Tuesday, lol.

I haven't seen this is in stores since March. Regardless, Ottawa-Gatineau area stores generally seem to refuse to match online prices (in my experience). The on-duty manager would indicate that online prices do not necessarily apply to the store. I've seen others comment that their local Walmart would match prices, but for whatever reason, my local stores refuse to.

Its not always accurate, sometimes sets are definitely available in stores even when the system says they are not. When it comes to sets that have long been discontinued, the chances of finding them in store are very small though.
