How often does Lego.com offer free shipping?

I have my eye on a few things at LEGO S@H, but shipping and tax make them a little higher than I like.

How often does S@H offer free shipping? Is it something I can pretty much count on every month or two, or is it a rare thing?

It is probably less often than 2 months. I am sure someone on here prob knows exactly how many times a year it was offered last year :) I think may 4th sale last year was a free shipping event....not sure if there was one between now and then. I wouldn't expect free shipping before they clear out the clearance probably...but they are more than welcome to prove me wrong as I always order the exclusives during free shipping.

They had it a lot around the Holidays but not since Christmas . The rest of the year it seems pretty random. I would gues they are due for another in the next month or so.

I think the next free shipping promo would be around Easter time, or earlier.

I am hoping that it aligns with the double VIP at the beginning of March. I want to pick up the Town Hall and free shipping would be great.

The March calendar does not show free shipping but it doesn't mean they won't have a special deal that month.

I hope they do during the 2x period, I was planning on making a big purchase and would really like to make use of the cash back sites.

I could just go to the store I guess, but then I don't get my 2% cash back
