Hello from another New Jerseyite
Hello all! I'm new to site but not to Lego. I recently rekindled my love for Lego mainly due to my wife making it her new hobby. Fortunately for us, we have multiple Lego stores within reasonable driving distance. This makes for frequent jaunts to the store where I ply my skill at packing as many little plastic pieces into a cup as humanly possible. It has become sort of a personal challenge to see if I can come up with new inventive ways of packing in more pieces. I've used such 'tricks' as packing tires in the cup lid, filling the tires with hubs or small pieces, putting pieces in chests, packing pieces together, and the glorious art of sprinkling little pieces at various stages of the packing process. I can often spend the better part of an hour just packing one cup. I should probably get my head checked.
I/we have a variety of Lego sets also and my wife is more into building the pre-made sets. I enjoy more just building something from an idea so having lots of different types of Lego parts helps with that. As many as we have it always seems you don't have the right ones or correct color. Heh, such is life.
It is awesome to see the many creative and artistic people who build with Lego. I enjoy viewing peoples creative ideas and will sometimes try some of them out with my own Lego creations. I hope to be able to contribute in some fashion and also learn from others. I believe that is one of the internet's greatest benefits. Thanks for offering this great site.
All the best,
Steve
