According to their Facebook we're looking at 15-25% off "selected" kits and markdowns on discontinued stuff.

From their comments, " I don't think we have pictures of all of the items. I can tell you that All Dinos, All Pirates of the Caribbean, a number of CARS items, a couple each in Star Wars, Ninjago and Super Heroes and Technic are all on this clearance. There are also some other items that we already put on sale around Christmas, including some other Ninjago items and a number of the LEGO games collection. Some items there are just 1 or 2 of and others we have 20 or 30 on hand, so the selection will chnage daily. I hope this helps somewhat....", and another from them that says "8069 Backhoe Loader was added in this round. Not sure if there is anything else left on sale in that series at this point. Also, kind of related (since it uses Technic construction elements) Mindstorm NXT 2.0."

Won't have a chance to check it out until next weekish though, and I haven't been down there since before I picked up lego again, so I couldn't say how picked-over things are. Might go check it out, though I need to keep the collection physically small until I move.

Checked out the sale and it was pretty lame. Any discounted sets were ones the everyone else has had on sale recently. Not much really goes on sale here and when it does it's stuff that isn't moving. They actually make Toys R Us look pretty good. At least Toys R Us has some promos and freebies to make buying more enticing. Otherwise they have a good selection if you don't mind paying full Canadian retail.

Yeah, I poked my head in the other day, seemed like everything that was on clearance was all gone already. Picked up a couple of things but that's more a function of me having a tiny, tiny collection than anything else.

Still though, if it comes down to paying full retail I'd take them over TRU where possible out of a vague preference for buying local, but, eh.
