But these 'exclusive' sets are listed as "Hot Price item! Cannot be combined with additional discounts**" at tru, which excludes them from the 20% off discount.

Yesterday, before this 20% sale, Craggers Command ship was $66 online. Summer Riding Camp was $99 online. Today, these sets are jacked up to $90 and $120, respectively. Similar fare for TMNT and DC/Marvel (and everything else, for that matter).

For many LEGO sets, this sale is actually a worse deal than before the prices were raised. :/

That said, is there an item or two that anyone has found that can be exploited with this coupon? Summer riding camp comes down to $96, and Croc Swamp Hideout is down to, I think, $56. Can't seem to find anything else, online anyway. Stinker of a "sale", ToysRUs.

20% total of qualifying items. I tested it with a Hot price item putting in the Tower of Orthanc, and the discount excluded that one item, of course. :)

Respectively this is how at TRU a sale or discount is almost always never a loss for TRU.
I think sometimes and some on here can correct me if I'm wrong but the BOGO or even price match sometimes gets you a semi decent deal at TRU but thats only sometimes and these are only a few times at best

Again these are just my 2 pennies
